Our BMW 2002 1310 series driveshafts are hands down the best 2002 shafts on the market (not to toot our own horn). We have blended a more modern BMW driveshaft format and 1310 series u-joints to offer you a truly updated and rebuildable driveshaft for the 2002s. Compared to the OEM BMW u-joints, 1310 series joints are massive. We use the NEAPCO solid-cross u-joints that can withstand tons of abuse on the track, or years of driving around town. Best part is, if you ever manage to wear one of these joints out, they are replaceable and the easiest to find u-joint out there. 
 
Now if you look towards the middle of this driveshaft you will notice the yokeshaft/sleeve with compression nut format. This is a more modern BMW driveshaft format that was around for decades: tride and true. It allows for the driveshaft to absorb engine movement, differential movement, chasis flex with ease. Keeping all that added pressure from shoving the carrier bearing or flex disk to an early demise.
